Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Applicants who are less than 35 years in age must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a superior academic record, and also must have at least two years of full-time professional work experience (acquired after a university degree) at the time of application.

Benefits:The scholarship provides for the scholar’s tuition fees at the University of Auckland; airfare to and from Auckland, New Zealand; basic cost of living,; health and medical insurance; and a special grant for thesis preparation (for scholars engaged in research).

Explanation:The scholarship program aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of Asian Development Bank’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP)

Eligibility: Applicants must satisfy the University’s academic entry requirements for a master’s degree by research or doctorate by research, while meeting English proficiency levels set by Flinders University for international students. Applicants must not hold an equivalent research higher degree qualification.

Benefits: The scholarship covers the international student tuition fees, a living allowance paid at the rate of $28,092 (AUD), and an establishment allowance of up to $1,485 (AUD) to assist with relocation costs and airfares. The scholarship is tenable for up to three years for a research doctorate degree and up to two years for a research master’s degree.
